NYTimes.com announces paid model for 2011

by Aanarav Sareen on January 20, 2010

In 2009, I wrote an article titled ‘NYTimes.com proposes monthly fee — and why it will fail.’ Today, www.nytimes.com announced it’s paid model for 2011. While the details are limited, the publication said that it will offer a certain amount of content for free, and after that, a user will have to pay.

The success of this model comes down on how many pages of content a user will be able to view. As a user, would you be willing to pay a nominal fee for www.nytimes.com?
